Self employed position

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload packages and products from the van
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher or supervisor
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and provide excellent customer service
  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate delivery records
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
  • Ability to drive and operate a delivery van in a safe and responsible manner
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading packages
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices
