Together Women is looking for an outstanding Sexual Exploitation Key Worker to be part of our Bradford Team
The Key Worker will provide intensive support to women who have been groomed or sexually exploited, deliver trauma informed group work programmes and develop referral pathways for women (including those leaving custody).
To fulfill the role you will require the ability to provide advice and guidance, have knowledge of the causes and effects related to sexual exploitation, homelessness and substance misuse.
The Key Worker will be required to demonstrate commitment to the values of Together Women, show commitment to equality and diversity and understand the importance of maintaining professional boundaries.

About Us:
Together Women is an award-winning charity that supports women and girls across Yorkshire and Humberside, with particular focus on women who are involved in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
From our women centres, we provide tailored support across a range of different pathways, including housing, domestic abuse, debt and unemployment.
As a charity led by women, for women, we provide trauma informed, holistic support to help break cycles of trauma, abuse and re-offending, and evoke systems change.
Background to the Sexual Exploitation Key Worker role:
The STAGE Project brings together charities Changing Lives, GROW, A Way Out, Together Women, Basis, WomenCentre, The Angelou Centre and Ashiana to provide trauma-informed support for women who have been groomed for sexual exploitation across the North East and Yorkshire.
Funded by the National Lottery Community Foundation, the partnership also works to influence change to policy and practice at local and National level, to systemically improve outcomes for women who are experiencing/have experienced sexual exploitation.
The Sexual Exploitation Caseworker role is about providing trauma-informed support on a one-to-one basis, and delivering therapeutic group work, as well as brokering solutions to help women address immediate and crisis needs as well as supporting women through the process of giving evidence at trial.
You will report to a Service Manager from the STAGE partnership and work closely with the members of the STAGE Project team.
The STAGE Project will support women through a Theory of Change to help women live flourishing lives and develop pro-social identities.
Stage 1:
Being:
- Initially engaging individuals through assertive outreach, being responsive and flexible to their needs (housing, health, addiction). This stage is about building up trust through unconditional positive regard and a nonjudgemental approach.
Stage 2:
Becoming - This stage supports individuals to begin building recovery. We will support women to overcome trauma, address complex emotions and engage with court processes.
Stage 3:
Belonging - The final stage of support consists of building positive social networks and integrating into the community.
The STAGE Project will support women to link into community resources and build on their strengths through Employment, Training and Education.
Women will have a named keyworker who will provide consistent support.Role Summary:
The STAGE Keyworker will engage with and provide trauma informed support to women who have been groomed or affected by Sexual Exploitation, on a one to one basis and through therapeutic group work.
