The RolenAs a


Site Reliability Engineer , you'll be responsible for managing incidents at an Application Support Level and you'll also be troubleshooting and resolving in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

nTriage, troubleshoot & resolve front-line production support alerts and tickets.nMonitor high-traffic systems responsible for operations, including applications, containers, middleware, physical hardware & databases.nHave a systematic, test and measure approach to continually improving operations & monitoring.nUnderstand Web Service APIs, Internet architecture, & common client-server technology stacks.nProvide a high level of customer experience to our internal and external stakeholders.nWork closely with third parties, interacting with many of our partners to resolve platform issues.nBe a confident communicator, leading telephone, or video call with internal teams & external partners.nSupport new projects when launched.nTriage front line production support issues.

You will effectively monitor a wide range of systems, triage & trouble-shoot bugs on our application.nGain valuable insight into the rapidly expanding world of our application, and server operations generally.nLearn about Quality Assurance.

We'll teach you the inner workings of our application, from provisioning to in-app purchasing, and the entire architecture throughout it, so you can help our teams ensure the quality of our customer experience.nGain experience in partner management, interacting with many of our partners, such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.nObtain insight into our integration work with new partners in supporting new projects.nLearn a top-tier level of understanding and support of our application and its server infrastructure.


Your ProfilenKey Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

nProficiency in handling incident management & problem management at an application support level.nExperience troubleshooting, analysing log files & resolving technical problems with Java-based applications in a fast-paced environment.

nStrong background in monitoring and logging of large-scale platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.)nFamiliarity with configuration and deployment management (AWS, Unix, Java, Databases, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)

nCompetency in one or more coding or scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, Ansible, etc.nUnderstanding of KPIs, metrics and SLOs.nExperience automating manual tasks.nKnowledge of version control tools such as Git.nFamiliarity with iOS, macOS, WatchOS and iPadOS.nAn exceptionally high level of attention to detail.nSelf-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.nEffective verbal and written communication skills.nMost importantly, a passion for ensuring our customers and stakeholders always get the best possible experience.nPrevious production or application support experience, preferably with large-scale distribution systems.nCompetency in one or more coding or scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby,Go, etc.
