Defence Equipment
The
Early Careers Advisor - Defence role is based within our
Defence Equipment business area.


Defence equipment stores, maintains, repairs and overhauls military vehicles and equipment so the UK army is able to train and deploy in a moment.

As well as supporting vehicles that are already in service, the team carries out vehicle assembly integration and tests new vehicles.


The role

_The difference our new Early Careers Advisor - Defence will make_
As a Early Careers Advisor - Defence, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This role would have a holistic impact on the life of our early career's population in the defence business.


You'll be responsible for developing the future talent of the Business utilising relationships with the apprentices as well as the learning provider.


Day to day, you'll work in partnership with the Early Careers Manager to understand Defence apprentice workforce requirements, build strong relationships and work with key stakeholders and external organisations to develop the apprenticeship programmes delivered by DSG and ensure the Apprentice placements deliver the required output to meet both business and individual needs.


You'll also support the Early Careers Manager and Business Partner in review the DSG, Land and Aviation apprentice programmes to implement improvements and changes necessary to ensure our programmes are attractive in the recruitment marketplace, whilst providing high quality employees into the business and have effective monitoring & reporting of performance across the Apprentice communities.

Essential experience

  • You must hold or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance
