About the role


As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a room and will be given the creative freedom to develop your own routine and curriculum.

You will be an excellent role model for other staff and will be responsible for delegating tasks to the rest of your team.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to easily build relationships with the children and their parents.

You will have a positive attitude to work and will be able to demonstrate a passion for working with children.

This is a permanent position, working full-time (40 hours per week) over 4 or 5 days.

This role will be based in either the Pre-School or the Toddler Room.

About the setting


This wonderful early years setting in the North Bristol area is a fantastic base for learning and development opportunities, for both children and early years staff who are looking to grow their career.

The setting is small, independent, homely and places a huge emphasis on child-led learning.

Staff at this wonderful setting are incredibly passionate about providing in-the-moment learning opportunities to children and support them to develop confidence, independence and resilience.

The setting has a well-established team, with many members having worked here for several years.

The management team are actively involved in the continuous professional development of its employees and often provide training opportunities to help staff progress in their career.

The setting has many excellent facilities, such as a large garden, a STEM centre for wood work and a phonics room.


This setting places a huge emphasis on creating positive parent partnerships, and you will play an active role in ensuring parent participation.

This includes organising regular parent celebration days and activity evenings. The setting also enjoy organising summer barbecues for its families and regular team building days for its staff
