We recognize that mere expansion holds limited value without genuine global collaboration, driven by our innovative team who think and act beyond conventional boundaries.About the Role and the Company:In this exciting Business Development Executive (BDE) role within the Marketing & Business Development (MBD) function at Norton Rose Fulbright, situated in the Europe, Middle East & Asia (EMEA) region, you will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day and strategic business development efforts for our Financial Institutions sector group, a key focus area for the firm.
- Work closely with two business development managers to cover various groups under the Financial Institutions sector, such as Banks, Insurance, Funds & Asset Management, FinTech, Private Equity, Private Wealth, and Financial Regulation.
- Collaborate effectively with global MBD teams, the Knowledge team, and the MBD support team in Newcastle.
- Key responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing business development activities, targeting marketing efforts, implementing sector-specific BD and marketing strategies, and acting as a primary contact for the wider business stakeholders.
- Establish strong relationships with lawyers, partners, and various MBD teams to ensure seamless business development processes.
- Produce tailored bids, pitches, client development presentations, and support client development plans and activities.
- Coordinate directory submissions, marketing collateral production, and manage practice and sector MBD budgets.
- Graduate level qualification
- Desirable experience in marketing and business development
- Essential experience in legal/professional services environment
- A sincere interest in the Financial Institutions sector
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative approach
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders efficiently
- Expertise in bids management and writing
