Role Description:

An exciting opportunity has risen within the EMEA ETF Support team.

The Team sits within the broader Equities Trade Control function and provides support to the front office within the Global Markets business based in London and Paris.

The desk trades Exchange Traded Funds with clients across all 3 regions (EMEA, US, Asia).

The Trade Support function will be located on the trading floor and partners closely with the Sales and Trading desk and all the other operational teams involved in the ETF lifecycle.

The team is involved in project work, whether strategic or tactical implementations to improve day to day work. You will be leading operational excellence efforts to simplify and improve client and employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated resource for the bank and clients providing end to end ETF support.
  • Centralised contact point for investigation and resolution of queries and operational issues from Sales desks, clients, and internal operations teams
  • New client set up oversight and coordination
  • Reconcile bookings to ensure seamless settlement
  • Booking of allocations and amendments within trading risk system
  • Monitor STP bookings
  • Query & Breaks management
  • Perform reconciliation, identify root cause, mitigate risk & prevent reoccurrence.
  • Define & implement Metrics & Governance routines. Provide updates on process health & update SPI as required.

What we are looking for:

  • This role will span across FICC & Equity processes & Controls curious mindset & ability to work with multiple teams to learn new procedures / systems is essential.
  • Good understanding of trade lifecycle: Execution to settlement.
  • Good client service mindset
  • Experience in a middle office environment, or equivalent trade support / control function
  • Good understanding of investment bank products and processes with a track record of process improvement and development
  • Reconciliation & exception management experience is required.
  • Excellent ability to balance demand, thinking holistically around process change
  • Demonstrate agility and a willingness to adapt to and respond positively to changing trends and agendas
