Condition Surveyor

Permanent, Full Time

Salary:
up to £30,000 + Car Allowance

Location:
Hyde Park W2 2UH, with travel across London.

We are recruiting for a Condition Surveyor to support our Royal Parks contract across London.

  • Previous building / asset surveying experience
  • Physically fit walking focused
  • A relevant professional qualification
  • RICS or CIOB
  • Experience producing technical reports, appraisals, measurements, costings, and estimates
  • Have a full understanding of all current techniques and software in common use
  • Awareness of all current HS&E legislation

They will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate recording of all data including whether, time and date of survey, photo/video evidence
  • Ensuring defects or information are GEO tagged into the mapping software
  • Survey reports required for Roads & Footpaths, Playgrounds across all Parks, and condition survey on Longford River. This includes updating and owning the service delivery plans associated.
  • Encouraging and training subordinates, clearly communicating the Company policies and objectives
  • Ensuring that control is established, checked regularly, and maintained
  • Managing all drawings and redline any changes for approval
  • Communication to the team the details the project objectives
  • Understanding of the NEC3 form of Contract and the change control process therein.
  • Ensuring QA procedures are implemented site wide
