About Our Client:


Page Personnel have partnered with a leader within the Logistics industry based in Staines-Upon-Thames and are now looking to add a highly talented Import Clerk to their team.

As Import Clerk you will report into the Operations Manager and can expect to have the following responsibilities:

  • ensure compliance with the customs regulations of the UK
- transpose customs declaration information from documents, and or other data sources into the customs brokerage system
- manage and meet required internal and external KPIs specific to the customer base
- build and maintain strong relationships with the customer base
- responsible for arranging and completing all associated paperwork, which documents the nature of the goods being imported from abroad and that they are legal and legitimate

  • Ensuring all is in order in relation to import quotas, customs tariffs, trade agreements and HM Revenue and customs regulations

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Import Clerk will come with the following experiences:

  • Air, road or ocean movements
  • Customs documentation and procedures
  • Transport procedures
  • Shipping schedules
  • Freight tariffs and rates
  • Ability to raise and complete documentation
