Job Title:
Digital Marketing & Promotion Officer
Based In:
Pontypool Head Office of Gateway Credit Union. The role will require flexible working.
Managed by:
Gateway CU General Manager.
Primary Function:
To support the Community Liaison Officer in growing active membership via online & social media advertising as set out in our business plan and marketing plan.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the Gateway Credit Union Website with regular updates to content.
- To deliver successful marketing campaigns via social media: Facebook, Instagram & Twitter as well as any other social media platforms as necessary.
- To support the Community Liaison Officer in visits to workplaces and community venues, building awareness and relationships with the Credit Union.
- To promote Gateway Credit Union within community groups.
- To support Credit Union services in schools throughout Torfaen and Monmouthshire with the provision of appropriate targeted marketing.
- To work alongside our staff and volunteer team to deliver excellent service to members online.
Person Specification for Digital Marketing & Promotion Officer:
- Knowledge & experience with posting and monitoring social media and website content.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well-presented and confident.
- Understanding of personal finance and ability to relate to our members.
- Commitment to the overall aims and purposes of Gateway Credit Union.
- Understanding of our background in financial inclusion.
- Highly organised, resilient, and flexible.
- Able to organise their own work times appropriately in order to integrate quickly into the current team.
- Driving licence, use of a car and willingness to travel.
