Elevation Recruitment is in search of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a Manufacturing Client in the Mirfield, West Yorkshire region.

  • Salary: £48,004
  • Location: Mirfield, West Yorkshire
  • Hours: Continental shift pattern - 2 days, 2 nights

Responsibilities of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Offer Electrical and Mechanical support to production and equipment
  • Initially work day and afters shifts to acclimate to the role
  • Maintain detailed event logs, including failure reports and PPMs
  • Adhere to continuous improvement practices for the company and employees' benefit
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations always
  • Handle PLC fault finding, particularly on Siemens and Mitsubishi systems
  • Address breakdowns promptly to minimize machinery downtime
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on various equipment types
  • Apply general fault-finding skills for recurring breakdown issues
