The Walton Community Centre, May Terrace, Giffnock


Are you enthusiastic, compassionate, creative and work well in a team? We are looking for support workers to join our group-based programme for children and young people who have additional support needs.


Hours would be Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4:30pm with some opportunities for additional hours throughout the week and school holidays.

Previous experience would be an advantage, however full training and support will be provided.

The role would involve:
Providing 1:1 child centred support within a small group setting

Adhering to robust infection control measures

Promoting and supporting different methods of communication

Accessing a range of varied lifestyle with physical activity

Meeting sensory needs through creative play

Encouraging choices within activity for child led play.
