They provide award-winning personal, commercial and specialty insurance products and services direct-to-customers, via brokers and affinity partners.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Pricing Consultant for an initial 6 month contract based in Horsham - hybrid days per fortnight in the office.) Likely extension to 12 months.

Job description - the role
The Development Team are moving to a new platform and require a Pricing Consultant to work on the project. The role will involve developing, maintaining and optimising pricing models in line with agreed strategy & targets.

You will spend your time providing detailed analytical support & recommendations to enable decision making; analysing pricing model performance and forecasting, reporting on findings and implementing agreed corrective action plans.

As a Pricing Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Providing scenario modelling and detailed analytical analyses & support.
  • Producing timely accurate and insightful outputs to enable decision making.
  • Monitoring and analysing pricing performance and forecasting.
  • Reporting on findings and implementing agreed corrective action plans.
  • Experience as a pricing modeller or analyst.
  • Background in Personal Lines Insurance products.
  • Experience using tools such as Radar, Earnix or Emblem is essential.
  • Experience of manipulating data and putting together pricing proposals.
