THE ROLE
Due to continued business growth, we are expanding and looking for a desk lead on our asset/equipment finance division.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced asset finance specialist to assist with the management of our growing portfolio ofclients, develop strong relationships with clients and partners and understand their funding needs.

Your focus will be on developing leads through inbound leads, referrals, developing a partner network and outbound activities, it is a revenue focused role.


The job is London based but there is flexibility in working from home and meeting clients and partners; your customers will be generated either through an established inbound function, partners, internal desk referrals and there will be a.

The role focuseson engaging with our clients, understanding their business, and raising them further finance. You'll need to have an adaptable style to work with a mixture of business types and sizes.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Driving revenue for your desk
  • Building relationships over the phone with management teams at our clients and with our lenders
  • Building relationships with potential partners
  • Analysing the financials of our clients and matching them with the appropriate lender
  • Analysing the clientbase using Excel (once trained)

YOU

Skills and experience:
essential

  • We are a young, diverse, dynamic team, therefore we're looking for personable people with a great attitude above anything else
  • Experience in a finance related role, with preference for those with experience in asset finance either direct lending or an intermediary
  • Be able to demonstrate a confident and friendly phone manner in an interview
  • Collaborative and highperformance approach to teamwork
  • Strong academic background (a degree is preferred but not essential with appropriate work experience)
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoys generating business and closing deals from their portfolio.
  • Ability to understand company financial statements, such as the profit and loss and balance sheet
  • Happy and comfortable talking to and engaging business people at the Director level

Skills and experience:

  • Customer service experience in a b2b business
  • Business/economics degree or 13 years of work experience in finance
  • Understanding of financial lending products such as asset finance, invoice finance, and loans
  • Ability to originate their own asset finance business
Experience of executing asset finance transactions
