Independent Reviewing Officer - Up to £39 per hour - Hybrid

NonStop Care is collaborating with a well-established local authority in the West Midlands who is in search of an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to join their team.

The perfect candidate will possess a solid comprehension of the duties they will undertake and will be eager to become a part of their tight-knit and supportive team.

This authority provides flexible working arrangements, enabling you to maximize your time within the comfort of your home, ensuring an exceptional work-life balance.

This role is part of a highly stable team that fosters a supportive and motivating atmosphere, giving you the reassurance that your colleagues will be there to assist you when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and chairing Child Protection meetings
  • Monitoring the progress of Child Protection Plans
  • Ensuring quality of practice, during conferences and in-between
  • Conducting regular reviews of children under the care of the Local Authority

Requirements:

  • A Social Work degree and registration with Social Work England
  • An up-to-date DBS check
  • Previous experience as an Independent Reviewing Officer
  • Valid driver's license
