They are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor eager to take on more responsibility, gain valuable experience, and advance their career within a highly esteemed company known for its exceptional standards and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Control costs of groundworks projects for efficiency, profitability, and safety.
  • Accurately measure all site works.
  • Provide early cost advice to clients regarding variations.
  • Identify commercial risks and offer suitable solutions.
  • Conduct cost analysis and procurement-related tasks.
  • Generate various cost value reports.
  • Assess completed work for timely payments.
  • Understand cash flow importance and ensure timely payments.
  • Cultivate good relationships with clients and production staff.
  • Allocate tasks to sub-contractors and assist with their procurement.
  • Aid in the development of assistants and trainees.

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Previous experience in Residential Groundworks contracting.
  • Familiarity with contractual terms in groundworks.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Efficient problem-solving abilities.
  • High precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with relationship-building capabilities.
