About The Role
Here at Winsford, we produce over 220 different meat products.
In this role you will ensure the New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) end to end processes are completed, on time and in full for the site.
The main responsibilities for this role include:
- Own the development process and the Critical Path at site from concept to launch
- Regularly communicate and update the key stakeholders on all projects involving the site
- Ensure all tasks are completed by all functions to keep all products in line with the critical paths
- Work with suppliers on new raw materials, new processes and complete paperwork
- Formulate recipes and prepare samples to meet the required briefs and present to the retail teams
- Coordinate / attend any Factory Trials
- Sign off preproduction runs, first production runs and attend post launch reviews
- Attend and run benchmarking and tasting sessions and create action plans to address any issues
- Attend and circulate any actions from meetings
About You
First and foremost you will have a passion for the meat industry and delivering fantastic meat products to our customers.
Communication is key to this role and you will be able to inspire and engage key stakeholders at all levels across all functions.
Inaddition you'll be able to demonstrate strong project management skills.You will also have:
- Strong experience within NPD previously
- You will have great relationship building skills being able to connect and work with many stakeholders across the business with the ability to influence
- Enthusiasm and drive to deliver results
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise

Here you can join our meat packaging operation that produces 2 million packs of beef, pork and lamb products every week.
In Winsford, we produce over 220 different meat products, including burgers, mince, pork steaks, ox cheeks, pork sizzle steaks and delicious rump and rib eye steaks.
Our 18,000 square foot site on 12 acres of land is home to 30 production lines. Here 960 colleaguesoperate a four-shift operation to keep things moving fast 24/7.About The Company
