As a Geography Teacher in Harlow, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for the world with students, inspiring them to explore and understand the complexities of our planet.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging geography lessons that cover a wide range of topics and geographical concepts.

Using a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.

Stimulating students' curiosity about the world through hands-on activities, fieldwork, and interactive discussions.

Supporting students in developing their geographical skills, including map reading, data analysis, and critical thinking.

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

Previous experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
