Job Description:
We're seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will play a fundamental part in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You should be enthusiastic, friendly, and committed to providing our customers with an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers.
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
  • Collect payments and issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  • Redeem stamps and coupons.
  • Make sales referrals, crosssell products, and introduce new ones.
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the area.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.
  • Keep reports of transactions.
  • Process returns and check to see if items are damaged.
  • Answer customers' questions and get a manager if the answer doesn't solve the issue.
  • Bag, box, or wrap packages.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a cashier or in a customer service/retail position.
  • Strong communication.
  • Customer satisfactionoriented.
  • Attention to detail and mathematical skills.
  • Advising customers on our extensive product range.
  • Experience with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods.
