Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 studentsnImplement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire studentsnAssess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvementnCollaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practicesnMaintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationshipsnCommunicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concernsnParticipate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldnQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentnProven experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school settingnExcellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methodsnStrong communication and interpersonal skillsnAbility to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learnersnDedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practicesnFlexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
