Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel, a striking Grade II listed iconic building in the vibrant Spinningfields District, offers 148 stylish hotel rooms and suites with modern amenities.

The V&A is the home to Chop & Plant our casual drinking and dining destination, offering a blend of Chop House classics and plant-based dishes with a focus on local produce and sustainability.

What you will be doing:

Setting up conference spaces depending on the requirements of the clients i.e corporate meeting, dinner, wedding,

Ensuring that all spaces are set up according to the banqueting events order and communicating break times to ensure seamless client service

Clearing, cleaning and setting up the events rooms for the future events.

Moving tables and chairs using the correct manual handling procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and other individuals

Ensure the safe storage of table, chairs and other conference equipment

Anticipate and exceed guest needs, going out of your way to make their experience a great one

What we are looking for
Previous experience working within a hotel restaurant (preferred)

A warm and genuine individual who enjoys putting people first

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Flexibility to work in line with the needs and demands of the business

Someone who wants to grow and develop within the company
