Job Role: As a mechanical maintenance supervisor, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. This particular site is a Highly regulated COMAH site, the company provides some fantastic benefits for an individual and have a development pathway to enhance personal and professional development.

Typical Duties will involve: Mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment working on equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals, pipework etc.
Attending to machinery breakdowns, fault finding processing equipment, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery.
Able to interpret equipment diagrams and drawings.
Mentor and train staff as and when required.

Working effectively alone as well as part of a team of engineers onsite following the safe systems of work and attaining all work permitsDesirable experienceHave to have a relevant mechanical engineering qualification (Minimum level 3)Minimum of 3 years' experience as a supervisor within an industrial engineering environmentPractical experience within a mechanical engineering environment is essential, so apprentice trained is ideal.

Ideally you would also be trained in MEWP's, Confined spaces, and Abrasive wheels.
Full driving licence.
