The opportunity


We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our established brokerage team, based at our Head Office facility in Preston.

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, your role will be to deal with customers telephone queries and orders, ensuring customers receive quality guidance and excellent support every time.

Recycling Lives Services provide services for WEEE, Batteries and Packaging compliance as well as total waste management services.

We provide UK wide coverage and by working closely with Recycling Lives Charity, we deliver positive outcomes for people and the planet in all we do.

We deliver services that change lives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Listening to customer requirements and be able to present appropriate options to be able to complete sales.
  • Using a bespoke system to complete bookings and resolve queries and accurately record customer and partner information.
  • Contacting partners to arrange skip hire and any other customer requests.
  • Relationship building with clients and partners.
  • Dealing with enquiries and complaints.
  • Data entry.
  • Being first point of contact for customers.

Person specification:

  • IT Skills, in particular the ability to learn new systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A confident and professional manner.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Previous call centre or other customer service experience highly desirable
