This role is a relief role covering holidays and sickness, allowing flexibility around your other commitments where you can chose which shifts you are able to cover.
Location:
Liverpool City Centre
Shift Pattern:
Various covering days and Nights (7am-7pm/ 7pm-7am)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Operate CCTV equipment to monitor and review activities within and around the premises.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency response, as necessary.
- Perform occasional risk assessments and make recommendations to improve security.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Valid SIA License.
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or similar role.
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Familiarity with report writing.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Techsavvy with experience in surveillance systems.
- Trained in First Aid.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education will be a plus.
Desirable:
- CCTV License.
