This role is for a Production Operative to join our manufacturing team.

The role will involve some or all of the following:

  • Operate production machinery
  • Clean factory areas and production equipment
  • Carry out quality and testing checks
  • Sort, store, deliver materials and components to production cells
  • Assemble components and products in production cells
  • Pack products for despatch as specified
  • Assist in picking and preparing goods to be shipped
  • Maintain work areas and equipment
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements
  • Other duties required by factory management

Required attributes include:

  • Experience and competence in operating CNC and other Production Machinery including drills, grinders, saws and powered and unpowered hand tools
  • Experience and competence in assembling components
  • Experience and competence in reading production instructions and drawings
  • Able to work alone or with a team.
  • Flexible and proactive.
  • Able to follow instructions accurately.
  • Methodical.
  • Having good eyesight and colour vision.
  • Having suitable fitness level.
  • Able to do repetitive tasks.
  • Patient and careful with good attention to detail
  • Able to understand and comply with safety instructions and requirements.
