At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a full time grounds maintenance team leader to support ongoing contract works for commercial clients on a range of sites.

Who are you?

  • Able and willing to learn and develop.
  • Possessing a strong work ethic.
  • Ideally qualified in horticulture with 2 years experience.
  • Good people management skills.
  • Adaptable to different working methods and using different equipment.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Have a full, clean driving licence and be able to tow.
  • PA1 & PA6 qualifications are desirable.
  • Reliable and able to work on their own initiative.

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You

  • Taking responsibility for the works on site, including productivity, timekeeping, and dealing with members of the public.
  • Contributing to a good team culture, bringing an enthusiastic and can do attitude.
  • Leading by example, motivating and guiding the team and maintaining workforce discipline.
  • Operating and ensuring others operate company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care and that daily checks and routine servicing are carried and properly recorded.
  • To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required by the Contracts Manager or Supervisor.
