Working for the Head of Sales, in the Sales and Marketing department for Pabulum and for Citrea, this is an essential role in delivering the five-year plan with a targeted increase in turnover from £27m to £40m.
The growth of the businesses will be dependent on the acquisition of new contracts and the retention of profitable existing ones in the Education sectors of state and independent schools.
This is a high-calibre role; it requires someone with experience in bid writing, formulating, and developing a bid response template, highlighting our strengths and proofreading our work.
Purpose:
The main objective is to support the sales team to grow the business, win new business and achieve, or beat, new sales target on an annual basis.
You will work with the Head of Sales, Sales Manager, Bid Co-ordinator and Marketing Team to develop and deliver winning proposals that present the best of Pabulum to prospective clients.
They key ingredients for this role are:
- A vision for the development of tender responses, Pdf and Word
- Produce high quality winning bid responses with compelling content
- Excellent writing, formatting, and design skills
- Good English, excellent grammar, writing and proof reading, attention to detail
- Skilled in InDesign and Windows packages
- Can deliver to tender deadlines and works well in a small team
- Understand the full requirements of the tender and bid
- Multitasking and flexible working when required, scheduling and planning workload
- Work closely with internal and external stake holders
- Liaison with external print partners and thirdparty suppliers
The ideal skills and experience:
- An experienced Bid Writer from any sector
- Bid writing qualifications or training courses attended
- Minimum two years in a bid writing role
- Catering Experience, especially in education, would be beneficial but experience in Bid writing or a bid writing accreditation is more important.
About The Role And Benefits;
