Overview:

Role Overview
To secure Rapiscan Systems as the leading supplier of X-Ray and People Screening products within EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets for EMEA
  • Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
  • Increase market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities
  • Establish and manage distributor networks
  • Develop budgets and monitor distributors' performance to ensure annual budgets are reached
  • Identify and coordinate sales and product training for distributors
  • Negotiate contracts on behalf of Rapiscan Systems
  • Build and manage a successful sales team
  • Report monthly bookings and sales against budget and forecast
  • Interface with Project Management, Service, Engineering and Operations to help maintain efficient operations in the region
  • Identify and assist in planning for key marketing events such as symposiums, exhibitions and conferences
  • Participate in regularly Regional management meetings
  • Create and maintain a positive culture and morale within the organisation
  • Act as ambassador and role model for Rapiscan business
  • Frequent travel within EMEA

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong sales management/leadership/negotiation skills
  • Business numeracy and acumen
  • Efficient management of time and resources
  • Good PC skills

Previous Relevant Background

  • High level sales / business management
  • Experience within advanced security solutions desirable but not essential
