The role

  • Keep uptodate with what is happening in fashion both online and retail world, presenting findings to the Buyer and Directors, in order to further develop your product skills
  • Supporting the Buyer on purchase of goods UK and Internationally.
  • Assisting the tracking of expected stock, delivery dates, outstanding order amounts and 'new in' samples and communicate this to the appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and arrange sample for fitting and stock for photo shoots and product releases.
  • Assist with any performance analysis required from the Buyer.
  • Contribute commercial ideas and views, adding value to decisions made by the team
  • Maintain the sample library.
  • Competitor and fashion trend research.
  • Ad Hoc Admin Duties

Key attributes/ skills required:

  • Fashion based degree or 2 years relevant experience.
  • Have experience within a Buying team.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Work well in a team but can also strive in individual tasks
  • Highly organized with excellent time keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good at multitasking.
  • Computer literate excel required.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Excellent communication/negotiation skills.
  • Passionate about fashion.
  • Confident working with numbers.
