We are looking for a skilled and dependable Loading Shovel Driver to join our team at a client's site in South Shields.

The main responsibility involves handling biomass in a continuous operation, which means you'll need to be flexible working day and night shifts.

In addition to operating the loading shovel, part of the job will involve performing industrial cleaning tasks when not busy with the machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate loading shovel to load hoppers and move materials
  • Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance for optimal performance
  • Collaborate with the site Manager to meet project deadlines
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven background as a Loading Shovel operator or similar role
  • Hold a valid NPORS or CSCS qualification for Loading Shovel
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Physically fit and capable of working in diverse weather conditions
