Machine Operator at Leading Food Manufacturer in Crumlin, Wales

A top food manufacturer is seeking adaptable Machine Operators to join their production line at a modern, automated, and pristine facility situated in Crumlin, Wales - conveniently located 15 miles from Newport, 10 miles from Cwmbran, and Caerphilly.

Paying a competitive rate ranging from £13.27 to £15.49 per hour with potential to earn up to £30.97 hourly for overtime.

Shifts Available:
  • DAYS: Saturday - 12 hrs, 06:00 - 18:00 and Sunday - 12 hrs, 06:00 - 18:00. Rate: £13.27
  • NIGHTS: Saturday - 12 hrs, 18:00 - 06:00 and Sunday - 12 hrs, 18:00 - 06:00. Rate: £15.49

This ongoing position offers excellent temp-to-perm prospects. Candidates must maintain full flexibility during the initial training period, which may include weekdays.

The ideal applicant will possess Manufacturing/Production experience, preferably in the food sector; however, training will be provided.

Your Main Responsibilities:
  • Operating machinery to achieve production targets
  • Conducting quality inspections
  • Accurately logging data from the production line
  • Enforcing strict hygiene standards in the work area
  • Assisting in packaging processes
  • Adhering to safety protocols and site regulations

The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork are essential.

Enjoy 28 days of annual leave pro-rota for the initial 12 weeks, increasing to 33 days per year thereafter (including bank holidays). On-site free parking available.
