Part time 30hrs mostly weekends with no unsociable hours as finish time is normally 6.30pm

Accountable to the Manager/Deputy

Required to wear uniform as per company guild lines

As an assistant cook your role will be to produce the required products using fresh produce as all menu items are prepared from scratch

You will also be responsible for preparing meals vegetables desserts and salad etc following dietry requirements Gluten free. Vegan and other dietry needs

All cleaning duties following the safer food better business file

Supporting the Cook during the day and at mealtimes

Maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness

Keep stock dates and accessibility when deliveries arrive

Prepare food with knowledge of Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options with allergy management to be considered

Serving customers in a polite manner

Follow the cleaning checklist weekly

General Kitchen duties
- washing up, cleaning

Participate in training and development

Support and work well within the team

Available to do overtime at busy periods as requested by the manager

Skills:

Minimum of 3 years nvq cookery experience is required

Punctual friendly and polite

Neat and tidy in appearance
