Community Liaison Officer

This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £18.30 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).
The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.This is NOT a remote working opportunity, the successful applicant is required to travel across Cheshire East regularly, attending homes of service users, Council buildings & other key locations.
You will be working under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.Key Responsibilities:
- Complete paperwork, update records and liaise with internal council teams, e.g. safeguarding, based on the outcomes
- Supporting Ukrainian guest integration into the UK.
- Housing post sponsor
- With the education team, find schools for young people
- Helping services users to find work.
- Updating databases & liaising with teams & partners as directed by team managers
- Supporting Sponsors to maintain successful relationships with their guests
- Supporting to ensure that Sponsor accommodation is in line with requirements
- Supporting sponsors to understand the needs of guests when they arrive in the UK or move from another sponsor
- Support sponsors when a potential relationship breakdown occurs
- Support sponsors to interact with other sponsors and voluntary organisations
- Exit interviews with sponsors
- Supporting recruitment of sponsors
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: N/A.

Experience: 2+ years working within the housing or social care sector in the UK.

Compliance: 2 x references and a current DBS check.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
