We have just launched our new Salesforce platform that services all our membership and fundraising activity, both online and through our call centre.

The move to Salesforce has been a significant undertaking, and now we have this platform under-pinning our main supporter management needs, we need to take care of this asset, maintaining quality and ensuring we are using it optimally.

We are looking for a Product Owner (Support and Revenue) to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract or internal secondment basis

  • What it's like to work here:The Operational Services Team in the Support & Revenue Directorate has responsibility for the largest number of products and platforms within the Trust, which underpin the Trust's ability to grow in a sustainable way. With a supporter base of close to 6 million, our Salesforce platform is now managing all their interactions and servicing needs.
  • Our Product Owners have a pivotal role which seeks to articulate the business and user need, understand the technical feasibility of the platform to meet that need, while ensuring we focus on business viability and getting the most value out of what Salesforce offers.
  • Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

What you'll be doing:

As a Product Owner for Support and Revenue, you will be part of a small but growing team ensuring that our member and donor management platform is doing the basics brilliantly, while also looking ahead at future needs and striving for continuous improvement.


Working with the relevant programme and delivery teams across IT and our delivery partners, you'll bring together the requirements from a range of internal stakeholders and users and understand how Salesforce can be best used to support them.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in the management and delivery of complex, multi-stream projects, with experience of back office/digital solution and business change projects
  • Communication skills, you'll be great at interpreting information quickly and concisely, explaining technical and complex scenarios in easytounderstand language
  • Credibility and influencing skills to ensure that you bring people along with you as you deliver change
  • Keenness to ensure you understand things fully end to end, and provide the assurance that what we deliver is of high quality
  • Prioritisation skills, you'll have competing demands, and you'll need you to be able to balance user needs, supporter impact, delivery effort and deadlines
  • A working knowledge of Salesforce or CRM products
