Catering Manager - School


We are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager in a Liverpool school on a temporary long-term basis to start as soon as possible.


Duties:

  • Provide a quality service to meet the school's requirements and able to react to unforeseen circumstances under pressure.
  • Be a Leader and develop the kitchen catering team to be prepared for all services promoting efficiency of staff activity and teamwork
  • Maintain knowledge of current food trends, food safety and hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
  • Promote and encourage healthy eating habits and encourage students with innovative menus
  • Inspect, maintain and replace kitchen equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Promote efficiency with budget awareness and commit to modern, fresh cooking techniques.
  • To carry out any other duties that may be within the nature of the role

Days:
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Hours: 37 hours per week

An Enhanced DBS Certificate is essential for this role.
