The main responsibility of this position is to deliver accurate bill of quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for various components such as pressure vessels, piping, supporting structures, and skid packages.

The role involves reviewing customer specifications and drawings to identify their needs and offer necessary advice.

The key duties for this role include:

  • Creating estimate sheets with costs for each quote request based on project specifications, regional requirements, and pre-order design
  • Interpreting technical specifications, reference drawings, technical documents, and regulatory regulations to produce precise cost estimates
  • Ensuring accurate cost estimation and timely submission of quotes for multiple bids
  • Identifying and managing potential risks in the estimation process by developing mitigation plans and informing stakeholders when necessary
  • Establishing and updating cost estimation strategies to align with the Capital projects reporting unit's objectives
  • Monitoring material costs against initial estimates and promptly addressing any risks of margin erosion

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification
  • Proficient in analytical and technical skills
  • Experience in utilizing spreadsheets, estimating pricing models, and cost management tools
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of self-motivation
  • Capable of working effectively in a team as well as independently
  • Good understanding of IT systems, particularly advanced Excel skills
