An opportunity has arisen for a part time Therapy Lead to join the Stowmarket Community Team. Community experience within therapy is essential.

The team are motivated and forward thinking consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers and Support Staff. As an Integrated Team we work closely with other agencies to meet the needs of the local community.


The primary function of the Therapy element of the team is to provide healthcare such as short term rehabilitation to patients in their home environment.

To support timely discharge and admission avoidance through exercise programmes and equipment provision to improve function and promote independence as much as possible.

We are also currently providing an urgent care response to support the Ambulance service. The team visit patients within their own environment or within the gym at Stowlodge. We also run clinics at base such as Falls Clinic and Better Balance group.


The team work with 3 GP practices and there is a wealth of experience and knowledge within the current members of the team.

You would need to be motivated and committed to leading and supporting the team to deliver high quality care.

The role expects a patient focus and whilst not carrying a caseload you will be expected to work clinically supporting complex patient management.
