Assistant Catering Manager

Key responsibilities
• To support the manager in delivering quality service across the unit
• To ensure a strong relationship is kept with client & customers
• To provide and maintain the highest standards of food & drink service
• To effectively utilise the branding and marketing materials provided
• To represent Gather & Gather's ideals at all times
• To communicate effectively with your manager and team
• Creating a positive team atmosphere & customer environment
• Configuring counter & display spaces to make them attractive
• Ensuring QHSE standards are met and upheld by your team
• Assisting with administrative duties as required
• Processing bookwork and stock takes
• Handling and organising of hospitality and events bookings
• Identify training requirements, and demonstrate training initiative
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• A flair for quality customer service
• A love of food & beverages and a knowledge of current trends
• Experience in a restaurant or café in a leadership capacity
• Strong communication skills
• A friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
Barista experience advantageous but not essential
