About the Company
Join a dynamic team in South Manchester with a competitive salary of £55K to £65K plus benefits. This permanent full-time position offers a hybrid work pattern, allowing you to work 2 days per week remotely.

Role Overview
  • Transitioning to Azure cloud technologies, such as Azure Fabric and Data Lake, to optimize data storage and processing.
  • Overseeing the release of SQL Code, stored procedures, and table changes.
  • Deploying source code into the production environment.
  • Addressing sustainability concerns with the current Data Lake setup.
  • Reviewing and enhancing the architecture of data solutions.
  • Collaborating with DevOps Engineers to ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Automating the release process using Octopus deploy.
  • Streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency within the data and architecture function.

Skills & Experience
  • Experience automating SQL deployment into multiple environments.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases.
  • Proficient in Octopus deployment and scripting tools like PowerShell.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
  • Experience with tools such as TeamCity, MS Build, or Visual Studio.
