The role:

We are looking for Ecommerce Operatives to work twilight shifts. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly Ecommerce Team. You will be trust-worthy and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, where computer skills are essential.

To succeed in this role you will be diligent and open to learning new skills, with a flexible approach to work and a proactive attitude.

These are part-time roles based at our factory headquarters in Kendal.

The hours can be flexible and are available between 16:00 - 21:00, Monday - Thursday, 12 to 16 hours per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Printing orders using Shopify and DPD portals, and using other internal ERP software programmes to plan, order and replenish stock daily.
  • Stocktaking and ordering stocks from the onsite Warehouse, dealing with outside companies and couriers.
  • Speed and accuracy when receiving, picking, packing, and sorting products or parcels.
  • Dealing with queries from Customer Service and processing returns.
  • Complying with safety procedures including but not limited to: adopting safe working practices, wearing the required protective clothing and use of safety equipment appropriate to the role.

What you'll need:

  • Being computer literate is essential;
  • Previous experience with hand held scanning devices and DPD portals is an advantage
  • Be selfmotivated and capable of working with minimum supervision, working to tight deadlines. It's crucial that you are accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven problemsolving skills, with ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • You will need to be able to stand and walk for the majority of your shift.
  • You will need to be able to lift (products up to 20kg), bend, twist, kneel and crouch.
  • To be able to follow safety, quality and production protocols. Your safety comes first.
  • Be a team player, with good communication skills, building relationships with other areas of the Factory.
