We're looking for an exceptional Junior Commercial Executive to join our UK and Ireland Commercial Team, ideally located within commuting distance to Cambridge Science Park.


As part of the UK and Ireland Commercial Team, you will support the country's business growth by helping the Commercial Manager and senior team members to scout untapped business opportunities and consolidate the existing installed base.

You will contribute to the delivery of a remarkable customer experience throughout all the different steps of the purchasing process.

This is a field-based role, and extensive travel across the Country will be required.

Responsibilities:

GROWTH AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:

  • Actively support country business growth, effectively contributing to the execution of the sales strategy, ensuring the delivery of an unparalleled customer experience, and the establishment of sustainable valuerelated relationships with all the different stakeholders.
  • Support most senior members of the commercial team in monitoring sales opportunities, and projections, analysing potential issues/blockers, and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Assist with the execution and implementation of customer offerings, including tender management whenever required.
  • Contribute global and regional commercial initiatives and projects as and when required.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with the global and regional guidelines, as well as local regulatory and administrative procedures/requirements.

MARKET DEVELOPMENT

  • With the guidance of the Commercial Manager and the most senior members of the team, analyse market, industry trends, and competitors to gain a good understanding of Versius commercial potential and promptly detect untapped business opportunities or threats.
  • Support the team in managing relationships with any stakeholder that could help develop the Country's business and represent the company at industry conferences, etc.
We're a high-growth company and roles can change and evolve. You'll need to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Sales remit that supports the team in delivering its objectives

About you:

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have/be:

  • Good communicator, highly curious, and able to demonstrate a self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to work in teams as this is a fundamental part of the CMR culture
  • Driven by learning, as this role will have a very steep and challenging learning curve.
  • Inherently selfdisciplined, as much of the role will be autonomous and require diligent and persistent followup.
  • Highly motivated and ethical you will need the ability to represent the CMR brand.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills you will need the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Life science degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree or experience.
