Job Title: Site Agent - Construction Projects
Reporting to: Project Manager
About the Job: We are looking for a skilled Site Agent to join our team and contribute to minor projects within the ISA's Logistics and Utilities portfolio. You will be a key player in ensuring the successful completion of projects in the highly regulated environment of the Sellafield nuclear licensed site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from start to end with focus on schedules and budgets.
- Lead subcontractors and on-site teams, promoting collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project progress.
- Assist in developing and implementing robust contract processes.
- Ensure teams meet all contract specifications and safety requirements.
- Support employees in achieving safety goals and perfect delivery.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise team activities to meet targets.
- Take charge of projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor progress and take corrective actions when necessary.
Succession Planning/Mobility:
- Coordinate resources for effective project delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews with teams and resolve issues.
- Address any delivery or welfare problems promptly.
Requirements:
- Engineering background with practical experience.
- Degree or vocational qualification with relevant experience.
- Experience in regulated environments, ideally in the nuclear industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven record in project management.
