UTS Sales and Repairs Ltd are to add a new member to their Driving/warehouse team immediately to cover the expansion of the business.
Job Summary
To provide a professional delivery service to customers by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, cleaning a van and maintaining records.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare van for operation by inspecting the general condition; fluid levels and tire pressure, reporting required repairs, validating adherence to roadability standards;
- Loading and securing items for delivery;
- Deliver items by identifying destinations, establishing route, operating the van, unloading items and maintaining delivery schedule;
- Keep a clean and professional appearance by cleaning the van's exterior and interior;
- Assist warehousing activities when the van is not in operation.
Key Skills/Experience
- Full UK drivers licence without endorsements
- Must be flexible, Some early and late finishes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of London and the South East is preferred
We have a bonus scheme on attendance and timekeeping
