We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner to provide excellent HR services to our stakeholders. This position requires a focus on customer service, delivering timely and accurate information, and providing professional advice and support throughout the employee life cycle. The ideal candidate will handle HR/Employee Relations casework, ensure policy and procedure adherence, and serve as a primary HR support/advisor for organizational change initiatives.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Offer professional advice and support on recruitment, inductions, performance management, and HR/Employee Relations casework.
  • Manage the HR/ER case list and maintain accurate records within the HR team.
  • Ensure consistent application of College policies, staying updated on employment laws and best HR practices.
  • Coach managers and participate in department meetings to deliver proactive HRBP services.
  • Lead HR support for organizational changes, restructures, TUPE transfers, and outsourcing.
  • Advise on Performance Management processes, including appraisals, competencies, and improvement plans.
  • Support recruitment processes and college-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR department targets as per the HR Strategic Plan.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on HR matters to improve performance against best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar HR advisory role.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience in supporting organizational change efforts.
  • Familiarity with performance management procedures.
  • Leadership skills for influencing and coaching managers.
  • DBS on the update service.

This role is Monday to Friday, and part-time options will be considered. It is a continuous temporary position. Please only apply if you are available immediately for work.
