About the Job:
One of the leading global HFT funds is in search of a proactive engineer with a solid IT operations background to join their rapidly expanding crypto division. This role plays a vital part in shaping the future of the industry.


Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining a DevOps toolkit for production trading systems (configuration, process management, deployment, monitoring, data collection, & analysis)
  • Direct interaction with traders & developers to manage technology changes, incidents, and problem-solving
  • Executing daily software deployments and configuration changes across a complex, global hardware and software environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in an IT ops role (DevOps, Linux Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, etc.)
  • C++ proficiency
  • Proficiency in Python and shell scripting
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or relevant work experience)
  • Methodical and analytical approach to issue resolution

Desirable skills:

  • Background in crypto markets
  • Understanding of networking principles, such as routing, multicast, LLDP, VLAN tagging, Ethernet
