The Role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Matchtech Defence team, supporting a key client win by sourcing candidates for crucial opportunities.

This is a significant account for the company, in an exciting and diverse sector where you have the chance to maximize your earnings with commission on top of your salary. Your main focus will be recruiting Defence Technology professionals, but you will also be involved in other roles.

Our Defence team was awarded team of the year last year, boasting a fantastic team culture, numerous social events, and many leaders who started without prior recruitment experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and present potential candidates to meet client requirements.
  • Show a deep understanding of client expectations, providing a consultative service on candidate sourcing, selection, and management.
  • Proactively create candidate lists to meet current and future demand using various advanced sourcing methods.
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of your sector, continually expand your knowledge, and offer insights to clients and colleagues regarding the candidate market.
  • Ensure top-notch quality and customer satisfaction; establish strong relationships with candidates, relevant client contacts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee candidates throughout the recruitment process, handling complex offer scenarios effectively.
  • Implement candidate attraction strategies suitable for current and future needs, such as job board advertising, building a referral network, leveraging social media, and utilizing the existing database.
  • Consistently generate candidate leads and market/client information to share with relevant colleagues.
  • Assist in achieving team and personal targets set by leadership.
  • Resource for other sectors/skills/clients when needed to meet client demands and promote agile working methods.
  • Utilize the CRM system fully and support junior colleagues in maximizing its potential.

Key skills:

  • Recruitment experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Individuals with Armed forces background are of particular interest.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude, with a drive to support junior colleagues.
  • Highly motivated, conscientious, and proactive individual with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships effectively.
  • Adept at working under pressure and handling multiple tasks.
  • Capacity for innovative candidate sourcing methods and process enhancement.
  • Alignment with Gattaca plc's core values.
  • Team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Customer service or sales experience in a recruitment setting.
