In this role you will provide support to our Sales, Engineering and Office-based teams to ensure customer enquiries and handled effectively.

You will be expected to review existing business, as well as proactively monitor and identify possible efficiency opportunities. You will add value to the enquiry process and actively promote our core material strategy offering to customers.

You will need to communicate clearly between departments and have strong commercial awareness and the desire to win new business.

Strong administrative skills are essential for this role.


Your key focus will be to work closely with internal customers to ensure that they have the equipment, information and time they require to effectively perform their role.


Core areas of the role include:

  • Understanding customer requirements, ensuring that you manage any enquiries in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Perform technical checks on drawings, where required create new part numbers, link Bills of Materials and drawings and help to manage and resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with both the supplier and engineering teams to ensure we can enable business growth.
  • Take responsibility for product quality.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in an administrative technical role is desirable.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong written & oral communication skills.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated, able to work with mínimal supervision and prioritise across competing requirements.
  • GCSE level English & Maths
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations in the UK where required.
