  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)

About the Nursing Home:

Our client provides residential and nursing care for up to 160 residents requiring general nursing needs and end of life care. The home can care for those living with dementia, younger adults with physical disabilities and mental health needs.
Spread across several units, bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities. Each unit has communal living, dining, bath, shower and toilet facilities. The home hosts a variety of trips that residents, family and friends can attend. The trained staff supports people in such a way that they can be as independent as possible and in residents' best interests. The nurses are highly qualified in nursing care, with decades of experience working in the industry.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
