We have a great opportunity for carers to join the team in a lovely care home. The home specialises in care for the elderly suffering with age related illnesses and dementia. The service can accommodate up to 78 service users and offers award-winning luxury.

The home also has a cinema, pub, hair salon and spa bathrooms with all the bedrooms being en-suite.

Duties include:

  • Following personal care plans
  • Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
  • General housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes
  • Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
  • Assisting with daily living activities including morning and nighttime routines
  • Working alongside support workers and care works to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs
  • Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users

Experience & Qualifications:

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Carer you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Due to the location of the home, it is recommended that you have access to your own transport.
