Responsibilities
As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the customers claim from start to finish
  • from notification, instructing suppliers, providing Total Loss settlements right up to recovering our costs from Third Party insurers
  • Ensure customers are kept informed and updated during the claims process
  • Manage your own case load
  • Communicate with other departments, suppliers and third parties
  • Make relevant investigations regarding liability and indemnity

Requirements:

  • Have experience working in a Claims Handler role
  • Be customer centric with strong and transparent communication skills, in any form of interaction
  • The ability to not only spot problems but dig to the root cause and implement changes
  • Be able to work on your own initiative and be confident in making decisions
  • Have strong organisation skills with confidence in challenging the status quo
